Philosophy 101On Politics | Only One To Be President America, Long Lives To The Aristocrats.

The Issues How about...
On Abortion "The Supreme Court of the United States of America will need to have a changing of the current belief regarding what a life really is. Until then, communication will have to be politically convincing in either direction for a reversal of choice. The voice of America will prevail."
On Affirmative Action "The very act of not segregating, segregates. This has been a true example of reverse psychology pummeled into the mind of our society forever. Those who are best fit for a given function should compete for that function."
On Campaign Finance "Freedom really does enjoy this attribute. Think about it this way; George W. Bush, Ross Perot, Donald Trump & Steve Forbes combined could easily generate $500 million ($500,000,000) for political positioning over the 2000 election season. The United States National Debt increases millions of dollars every single day, check out the U.S. National "DEBT CLOCK." When this at least stops increasing...
On Crime "Don't do the Crime if you can't do the Time, I love that old Baretta theme. Incentives to deter criminal behavior need to be in place to stop criminal behavior. Until then, our solutions to crime will be dictated by the economics of crime."
On Defense Spending "The global environment is increasingly hostile from many countries in this world. The shame is we think we are the only ones who can have certain toys while allowing other toys to be lowered in acceptable standards of protection. If we're not careful here, the next decade could prove quite different than our current understandings."
On Drug Policy "The tide is shifting on this one. It appears that government is reconsidering the "medicinal" uses of drugs, particularly marijuana, while continuously promoting a "disrespect" for said behavior."
On Drug Use "It is very difficult to promote or condemn drug use, legal or otherwise. This is a private decision between a person and their mind regarding their own individual needs in this life."
On Education Money "Someone has to pay to educate the children and there is no one else but ourselves to rely on. This area seems so obvious as far as "what" needs to occur, but the results we have achieved so far are disheartening to say the least. Competition in education will be of use for a few years, then it will change again. The evolution of education in this country is at the end of the current experiment."
On Environment "It is only getting dirtier every moment, keeping it clean has to be on the list of things to do, the top of the list preferably. Economic considerations have got us here and economic considerations will get us out."
On Evolution "This is where choice of philosophy needs to be respected. This in turn leads to a choice in the educational arena (which is already deteriorating for the better)."
On Foreign Policy "The value of foreign policy is deeply entrenched with the value of the economic benefits we enjoy. It would be nice to believe that the spreading of democracy is a consideration, but then sometimes you wonder."
On Gun Control "Educate yourself and stop getting mad at the guns. Control resides in the minds of the care providers."
On Health Care "Prevention and a second look at alternative medicines would be a good thing for everyone to at least do once, kind of like going to college."
On Moral Issues "Morality is in the eyes of the beholder. I am of the female preference personally and I prefer to illustrate to my children a mother-father-family model (not that it works mind you). Other 'moral' considerations are generally responded to by the information received from the care providers."
On Social Security "Preserve the now & pave the future (or at least try). Eliminating the United States National Debt is the greatest weapon against this run-away train. The money saved ($1 billion per day) would stabilize this financial house of cards."
On Tax Policy "The Constitution is clear on this subject. Eliminate income taxes and allow the American citizen to participate in the tax structure with excise or sales taxes on items other than basic need items. This allows for basic needs being addressed for all while only taxing those individuals who can afford to participate in the 'finer things' in life."
On Trade Issues "Make it Fair. The current relationships we, as a nation, have allowed is inexcusable. It's hard to blame other countries for taking advantage of our policies when we prove time and time again. I would, too."
